How to play

Ultimate Tic Tac Toe

Each move places a mark inside a mini board and sends the next player to the mini board matching that square. If that board is already won or full, they may choose any open board.

Win three mini boards in a row on the large board to win. Closed mini boards cannot be played again. If all mini boards close without a large line, the game is a draw.

A little strategy

Sometimes sending your opponent to the wrong board costs more than winning a small square.

Tap a piece, then a highlighted destination. Use arrow keys to move focus and Enter or Space to choose. Undo restores your whole turn, including the computer reply. Changing mode starts a new game.
