How to play

Nim

On your turn, remove one or more stones from exactly one heap. You may take the whole heap.

This is normal-play Nim: the player who removes the very last stone wins. The starting heaps contain 3, 5 and 7 stones.

A little strategy

Watch how the heap sizes fit together. Equal pairs cancel each other in a winning Nim position.

Play with touch or mouse. Use Tab or the arrow keys to move between board squares, then Enter or Space to choose. Undo takes back your move and the computer’s reply.
