How to play

Ataxx

Select one of your discs, then an empty destination one or two squares away in any direction. A one-square move clones your disc. A two-square jump moves it.

Every enemy disc touching your destination, including diagonals, changes to your color. Turns pass automatically if a player cannot move.

The game ends when a color is eliminated or neither side can move. The player with more discs wins. Equal counts are a draw.

A little strategy

A jump reaches further but leaves a hole. A clone adds territory without giving up its starting square.

Play with touch or mouse. Use Tab or the arrow keys to move between board squares, then Enter or Space to choose. Undo takes back your move and the computer’s reply.
